Is a woman committed to helping actors get SMART about rehearsing, training, performing, auditioning, the industry and self-care. More specifically, kparkerg is Kim Griffin, or Kimberly Parker Green, or even KPG: an actor, writer, student, teacher, member of Actor's Equity Association for more than a decade,  and an experienced theatre professor with both BA and BFA programs.

Hi. It's so nice to meet you!

I hold a Master's Degree from The Old Globe Theatre, University of San Diego's Professional Actor Training Program in Shakespearean Performance, a certificate of completion from the People's Improv Theatre of NYC, and have been a member of Actor's Equity since graduating from Boston University's School for Theatre way back in the pre-smartphone days. I have done a lot of stuff onstage, in front of the camera, and as a human. -- That last part is important: as a human. First and foremost, you are a person. I feel like that gets left behind in a lot of studio classes , and have found that getting to know my students, helping them to navigate all of the many choices they have to make, working from where they are: always yields better results than trying to make them be someone else.

Let's get together and make you a better actor by paying attention to who you already are! Do the work for the sake of your confidence, and cultivate a work ethic that will get you through the hard times. Classes are added on a rolling basis, and coaching is offered in several forms. Check out the calendar to see what I am up to, what might be inspiring to you, or shoot me a message if you aren't sure where to start. I'm actually here for you. Like, really.

Hearts & stars...
